Editing: Day 1

Finally. We have reached the most tedious section of our music video making. thing. Editing. For editing (or from what I remember last year) is that you have to be very focused and concentrate. But you have to take regular breaks otherwise the screen will go all blurry.
So on Monday 31st October, we uploaded all our footage to our video drive and quickly reviewed it all. We showed Saima all the stuff we had done in the holidays. And that was kind of it. We had a lot of footage.
Then, on Thursday 3rd November, we started editing. It was sort of fun. We had all sort of forgotten how to use Final Cut Pro, but after a couple of tries (more like 10) we had put our song in, added our base tracks and cut them all to the beat. It was sort of hard to find the beat, mainly because there was more than one. I had a go first, but then I lost it in some places, so then Fatama had a go and she got it. :D Then we went through each base track and deleted the parts we didn't want, or didn't like, or had a mistake in it. By that time, it was lunchtime, but me and Fatama stayed behind and we got a headstart on making our chorus. We did this because we wanted to make sure that it looked okay. Because when we planned it, we didn't go into loads of detail. So now that we had all our footage we wanted to get a rough estimation to see if we had enough footage of faces.
We didn't get very far, because it was lunchtime, and our focus had gone down to 5%. But it worked.

Videos and pictures are coming once Fatama uploads them. :D
