We booked to take the camera out from Thursday to Sunday, because we figured filming towards the weekend would be beneficial because there would be lots more people out and about. On Thursday Jazzine and Fatama went to pick up the equipment (I couldn't make it because I had to help out somwhere) but they went to Oxford Street and Chinatown to do some filming. It came out really good, especially the shots in the busy Oxford Street and the night shots from Chinatown.
Friday was the day we went to film near Canary Wharf (near Fatamas house). I was only able to stay for an hour or so. I was there for the beginning and then Jazzine came shortly after I left. I was the only one with the song. :P We did a couple of shots of Renee sitting down and singing and a walking shot. It was pretty cold but lucky it wasn't raining. In the evening, Jazzine, Fatama and Renee went and filmed near South Quays where there was brilliant lighting and got some amazing shots. I went to Fatamas house around 11:30pm to pick up the camera so I could go and film the lights in Central London. I don't know why I went that late but I did. And it was successful, I would say. Finished filming there about one. Oh wait, a reason why I went to film out at that time was because there are less cars out and about. Yeah.
We took Saturday off, because me and Jazzine had other commitments and it would be much less hassle to just film on Sunday. Which is what we did.
We went to Covent Garden on Sunday, met around 1ish and kind of finished up the filming. We originally planned to stay till around 6 to get evening shots but once we did our close ups and base track shots we didn't really see a point. I think Sunday was the most successful day for us because we got the base shots done. It was overall a fun few days. I can't wait to start editing. Although I think Ill get sick of the song by the time we finish.
