Designing our digipaks.

This week we began designing our digipaks. We have to design a front and back panel, the CD housing and the inside left panel as well the the A5 advertisement. For my album design I have taken inspiration from our music video, as that will probably be released before the actual album. Therefore, people will have seen the music video and then would be able to make some link from the music video to the album design. The advert for the album release will have the same background as the album cover, this is again so customers will be able to make a clear link. The font I will be using is called American Typewriter and the colour scheme being light blue and medium tone brown. The font and colour scheme were decided as a group and I think they work well together.
So far, I've done the front and back panel for my album cover which is a four panel album. The CD housing does have a background but I'm still unsure about it and the inside left panel is still blank. I have ideas to put a close up shot of Renee(our music artist) in there. But I'm still not sure. The next post will be after I have pitched to Dan about my ancillary products and his feedback. I will post pictures there of my planning. :)
