In lesson we all do had to a practice digipack using Photoshop. We were told to use the pictures of Dan that we taken and uploaded onto the computers to make our digipack, after that we can have what sort of creativity we wanted. I chose to use this picture of Dan because I was practice for my own digipack and my own digipack we be pop genre. This picture is a close up, which is conventional for pop, and with this picture I was more able to cut out the background. I put the background of a city landscape because it went with the title of the album: it's my time. To me that meant, it's his time to be noticed and to make a stand, take control, so they city background represented him being heard in the city or world, and it also kind of suggests that it's him against the world.
I chose the colours red and brown for the font because it's masculine, and it want to portray Dan as a masculine artist, so this way you already have an insight into the type of music in the digipack. That's also the same reason for the font choice.
I made sure to dot the artist name bigger than the album name, but I also made sure that his picture is the biggest thing on there - this way he is dominating and is the focus of the digipack.
