Digipack Mock-up final

This is the whole mock up for my digipack

This is closer shot of the front and back panels. As you
can see my visual link throughout the digipack will
be a guitar.

The is the digipack cover i gain inspiration and ideas from.
I like the challenging use of conventions here, and I
believe this was very effective.

A shot which allows you too see both my digipack cover and Lily Allen'

digipack cover shines more light on the influence. I saw that Lily Allen
was sitting on a big 'L' and decided to try and imitate this concept and
have my artist sitting on a big guitar. I thought this idea would be
effective for my digipack because it's my artist's debut album and I
wanted the audience to immediately notice and emphasis on her guitar
to illustrate that it's a big part of her music and who she is. Also this
idea makes her digipack more noticeable, and in a time when CD sales
are declining and noticeable and impressionable image/art work/ design on or
or in your digipack is crucial.

I thought this would be a nice picture to put on the back
because it carries on the visual guitar link, and also the way
she's positioned to only be at the side, I enabled the credits to
effectively be put right next to her, like how her name is in the
picture.

This is my mock up for my inside panels. I thought that i should put a close up
shot of the artist on the inside left panel because close up shots of the artists
conventional for pop digipacks. However now i'm thinking of putting a close up
shot of her and the guitar together to guarantee the visual link is clear and successful.
The CD housing I am going to use the same font that is on the front cover of her name,
and have scenery shot against it.

As you are aware from my previous blog, i was going to
have a picture of the artist on my CD housing, but upon
reasearching i discovered that that isn't convential for pop.
Instead I have decied to go with the convention and put
only the artist's name. In the picture above, I liked the use of
scenery and thought this could look really nice in my digipack
because it portrays my artist as clam and humble, and
the artist's image is really importanf for my digipack because this
 is her debut album.
