In lesson, before we were allowed to start our digipack we all had to present a 'Pitch in a Lift.'
This is a short brief and concise outline of your ideas and plans – about 3 minutes long. After a short preparation at the beginning of class, I was ready to go into the next room and present my pitch.
I presented my pitch to Dan and as you can see, it didn't go so well. -_-
I understand his reason of doubt, am I am going to take heed to his advise that do my idea with the three different shots. However I will still do my original idea of the giant guitar. This is because i was planning to shoot pictures for all the other ideas anyway as a back-up. So I can try my guitar idea and if it doesn't work I can do my back up idea, as that will not take so long to do anyway.
I'm really keen on doing my guitar idea because this idea will enable my ancillary product to stand out from the rest, which is something that all ancillary products aim to do because CD sales are declining and an average digipack won't cut it in our current music industry.
So I'm going to plan and take pictures for both my ideas.
