Reflecting back on the AS year:

In our AS year just before the summer holidays we had a few weeks of lessons to experience A2, in these lessons we learned/ experienced with Photoshop, this was because we will be using Photoshop software to make our Digi packs for our music video. 

This was my first experimental Digi pack: 

We had to just play around with Photoshop and experiment with the different tools, i think that this was an ok attempt; for example it had the name of the song, a list of all the tracks in the cd, had a barcode and it has the record labels on it. however this could have been 10 times better. i think that the more I practice using Photoshop the better I will become. 

This was my second attempt on the cover and back to the Digi pack, i think that this was a better version than the last. I think that this one looks like it had a lot more thought put in it. this one has more of the conventions of a Digi pack, than the last one that i attempted. i think that i have put a lot more thought into this one, e.g. all the writing on the cover and back of the Digi pack are the same style and nothing looks out of place, i really like the fact that it has a faded effect to it. i think the improvements that i could make on this is that i could relate the cover to the song more, or have the artists face on it. also another aspect that i could have improved on; i didn't understand that we were supposed to put the person we recorded on the video as the person who made the song, we were supposed to put their name and their picture on it, i got a little bit confused when we were doing the Photoshop task and put the original artist on the cover of my Digi pack.
