Reflecting back on the AS year.

New skills learnt during the lipsynch tutorial.

An Overview:
We were put into groups and given a song that we had to create our own video to. We had to keep in mind loacations, angles, lighting and all that other good stuff we had learnt over the year. We had to film at least two minutes of the track, and at least six base tracks. We had to film a long shot and a mid shot on the tripod, a handheld tracking and close up shot and then two of our own choice. Needless to say, we didn't do all of them, but most of them. The song we were given was

Here are the things I learnt:
That when your filming and the person in the shot makes a mistake, just carry on filming till the end. Because you can cut that part out from your actual video.
Take as many takes and angles as possible. Variety always works in your favour. It's better to have too much footage available then not enough.
Pick empty locations, unless you want random people walking their dogs in your video and then looking back into the camera.
Make sure the person lipsynching knows the lyrics.
When editing there are a few way to do it. The one we chose to do in the end was putting our selected footage all into final cut pro, then marking out the beats on the timeline before cutting out the shots we didnt want. This is quite an easy way to edit and will ensure that you have a variety of shots so it doesnt look boring.

Still need to add pictures.
