Analysis of the original video.

So here is the original video for our song. It has a lot of fancy editing and cartoonish backgrounds, something which we don't have the resources or time for. Plus, the story in this video isn't something we wanted to do. We want to do lots and lots and lots of editing. We want plenty of cuts in our music video (obviously as we want to cut to different peoples eyes). I feel that this music video is a bit slow for the song. Another thing that will  be different in our music video is the amount of times the artist is shown in the video. In the original, KT Tunstall is shown is pretty much every shot in the video, and we plan to do the complete opposite. We want our artist to be shown only in a small part of our video. For this part we want to use slow motion. This video also contains fantasy, dream world-like scenes and our music video won't contain any of that. We don't want to use the green screen at all in our video because it can be very hard to get right. We want to use real locations in our video. We don't have much of a budget so we have to take into consideration the cost of everything. But I'm sure we can pull it off.
