Filming Day 1

Our first day of filming was last Monday’s lesson. We filmed the faces of people in college for our visual motif.  We went around different locations in college and asked many passers by if they would please be in our video. Some of them agree straight away. Some only agree after we told them they didn’t have to do nothing but stand there and that their clip will barely last a second. The rest just said no. But I was expecting some no’s anyway.

When we were filming each face we tired to make sure the camera position was precisely the same for everyone, which was even harder to do because the camera didn’t have that frame dimensions that’s normally on still cameras so that you can have the right dimensions in your shot.

At the end of the lesson we got quite a fare amount of shots we gave us a lot to work with and started us off on the right track.
