PLANNING

FILMING ON THURSDAY IN THE HALF TERM HOLIDAY:
                                                        
The persons present on Thursday 27th:
-Fatama
-Jazzine
-Renee
 It was only me and Jazzine filming today, we went to oxford street and the china town with our artist. Me and Jazzine met up at college at 12 o'clock to pick up the equipment, and then we went to oxford street, we set up and found the first person that wanted to be in our video, he was standing in front of the camera, i turned it on to record and it said to put in the memory cards, and i looked for them in the bag and we couldn't find them. we hoped that the teachers would still be there so that we could get the memory cards, otherwise we wouldn't be able to film... i felt anxious on the way back to college.

So we made ways to go back to college to get the memory cards, and the teachers were still there! YAY. Plus this did not end up being a waste because we had forgot to get the guitar from Rebbecca, so we went to her and got the guitar, we are going to use this in our music video.
 

 Here are the pictures that we took when we were at our locations:  

We picked a location that was not in the way of people and where we wouldn't have disruption, it was hard to find because as most people know oxford street is extremely busy! we manged to find a space on a side road. it was a good spot :D This is me and jazzine trying to get a close shot for our chorus.

It was raining for a bit so we waited in McDonald's for the rain to pass so that the camera wouldn't get wet, it was harder to film after it had just rained, also the bottom of my dress was soaked and so were my shoes from the rain on the floor... not good!

Also i think that people were more reluctant to be in our video because it was raining. i don't think that people were in the mood. there was some people that we asked and they were so rude and outright ignored us, but there were some really nice people who asked us questions about our music video e.g. what it was about, why we were taking shots of faces specifically etc. this made it a lot more nicer and gave me confidence to ask more people.



We took these pictures so that we knew exactly what she was wearing, so that it could be the same when we filmed on the other days:

and she is still while they are moving really fast.

These pictures were taken in chine town, this was the second location that we planned to go to on Thursday:


This is us finding our way to chine town from Piccadilly circus because we didn't know exactly where it was.



 Me carrying the guitar and the tripod, it became heavy after awhile :/

This lantern in chine town really caught mine and Jazzine's eye, we thought that it would make
a really nice shot. so we got out the tripod and camera and shot this, we could use this if we wanted.

We decided to take this shot in the ally way because the lights in the back made a really nice shot, however when we watched it over it didn't look that good, it looked to dirty and not very well lit where our artist was gonna stand; so we have decided not to use it.

We were going to do a base track however, we found out that Renee (our artist) was learning the wrong song!!


This meant that we couldn't do any base tracks, we just had to improvise. so we took some tracking shots of Renee and some shots where shes just looking at the scenery. we also took some close ups. i think from the three days this was the least best, i think the filming that we did in oxford street was better than the filming we did in china town. but it was still fun :D
