Analysis Of Music Videos That Have Influenced Us With Our Final Planning Decisions

Kickstarts by Example:
The A Team by Ed Sheeran:
The ideas that have influenced us from this video by Ed Sheeran is when the film outside in the evening time, they film the same place for a long time and the fast forward to show that a lot of time has passed. This video influenced us to film in public places where there are a lot of people. Another editing aspect we were inspired by from this video, was where the woman is leaning against the rail and the cars are going in fast motion around her, we think that the effects when you fact forward this is going to work really well. We want to shoot a scene where our artist is looking for someone in the crowd and all the people around her are moving in fast motion.
Cant Stop Feeling By Franz Ferdinand:
Our group really liked the editing of this video. It was really clever how simple the editing was and it looked really effective. The video flowed really well because it looked like one person was doing something to another even though they were being filmed separately. This video just inspired us to have really good effective editing and keep all our shots simple. they use transitions in many places to make the video more interesting and eye catching. the costume and location are really basic, we would like to adapt this concept because the shots in our chorus are going to be edited very quickly so this means that it would be a good idea that there shouldn't be lots of complicated costumes.
The Other Side Of The World By KT Tunstall:
We really like the writing on the screen effect in this video, and we think that it would be really cool if we did something similar for our video for example if we had some of the lyrics of the verses on the screen instead of the the actual artist lip syncing that part. i think that i would bex a great visual for the audience and will keep them interested.
Channel four advert for 7 days:
Jazzine remembered that she saw this advert once, so we looked it up and we had seen it before. we really liked the way they split the face into many different people to make one face. This made the advert a lot more interesting than if it was just normal whole faces talking.
