So this is the 'front page' of KT Tunstall's website. It has the latest news in the centre to let her fans keep up to date with what she's been upto. On the left hand side are links to other pages on her website to videos, the gallery and to shop. On the right hand side is where there are links on other ways to keep up to date with her. There is a small list of tour dates where she will be playing next. She has a bright green banner for the social networkig sites she is on.
She also has a sign up button(arrow on the left, or the bright pink banner) if you want to keep up to date with her by getting emails and also a place where you can listen to songs from her album which is circled in blue. This promotes her songs as you can listen to them for free here and i you like them you can buy them.
This is her 'shop' where you can buy her CD and merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, posters, mugs etc. They all promote her as an artist and also her songs because the merch has lyrics from her songs on them. The name of one of her albums is called Tiger Suit so on some of her merch she has tiger faces on them to promote the album in a way that if someone who knew her music saw someone else wearing the tiger hoodie they would automatically think that 'hey, thats KT Tunstall's new album name.' The blue circle shows that you can buy in pounds, euros and dollars meaning that she ships internationally to places like Spain, USA, Canada, France and other places that use these currencies. This is helping her get international recognition.
This is where the 'community' link takes you to. Its a forum where fans and members can log in to and talk to each other about KT Tunstall or anything at all. As you can see at the bottom she doesn't have lots of users. But the website overall allows the visitor to find out all they need to about KT Tunstall.
