Dan said that we got the artist brand image wrong. we were supposed to do things that our artist would be associated with and what people will recognize them for but we accidentally did it like the audience profile. This is what we did.
Another constructive criticism that Dan gave us is that we shouldn't use the locations that have graffiti/ street art on them because they don't fit in with our theme or lyrics. he said that its alright to use that as a back up if we don't have enough footage but we should try and avoid using them.
We also want to have lots of people faces for our visual motif, he said that we should be prepared to get rejected from a lot of people because lots of people are not going to want to have their face recorded.
He also said that we should think about having a progression from beginning to end.
We also wanted to use a guitar in our video and Dan said that they have one in the media department, which is really cool. this means we don't have to go out and spend money to buy on for our video.
I think that the criticisms were very good because it helps use tweak those mistakes or things that wont work. i think that getting only this much constructive criticisms means that we must be headed in the right direction and hopefully it will be a great music video.
